As a Buddhist, one should be open minded, and open heart, always willing to help others. Look at Lord Buddha that he is willing to accept Angulimala, a serial killer that even intend to kill him, and teaching him the full dhamma. Then how can Buddhism close their door to good woman (and good man, of course)? Note that, everyone can become enlighten, every person has potential to become a Buddha, including woman.
