Words cannot express my joy when Ven Dhammananda of Vietnam wrote to inform me of the Bhikkhuni ordination in Australia. Maha sadhu to all Sangha and lay supporters who rallied round to support Ajahn Brahm and Ajahn Sujato in their quest to make this momentous event possible! Technically, revival of the Bhikkhuni Order should be possible and all it needs is political will. After all, the Bhikkhu Sangha of Sri Lanka died off because of war but was revived by the Burmese Sangha. Let good faith and right view prevail for the sake of the Buddha sasana.
