The SuperSeries governing body is very excited to have reached an agreement with Fasthockey.com, the premier online destination for streaming video of amateur hockey games around the world, to provide their video service for all the SuperSeries going forward.

We are very excited to finally offer this valuable service to all host cities reinforcing our main goal to make competitive hockey cost effective NOT cost prohibitive. Fasthockey.com is a pay for view service in which they will offer single game or a special tournament package for each SuperSeries through a dedicated SuperSeries portal. It's a win-win situation as there are no setup costs to the SuperSeries organization or participating teams and if people wish to view the games (optional) they can easily purchase game or a special tourney package for all 6 games

Hockey Hall of Famer and Penguins chairman Mario Lemieux was at CONSOL Energy Center Saturday morning. But he wasn’t sitting in usual seat in the owner’s box. Instead, Lemieux was behind the bench. Lemieux is the head coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite Tier 14 Team, a local traveling squad comprised of top amateur players, including Lemieux’s son, Austin, from Pittsburgh born in 1996. The Penguins Elite are competing in the Tier 1 ’96 Super Series amateur hockey tournament, which is taking place at various rinks around Pittsburgh over the weekend, and was hosted by CONSOL Energy Center Saturday.
