Sunrise
Child Care strives to provide high quality, progressive care to
children from 6 weeks up to 12 years of age. We aim to support parents and
children by offering programs that are enjoyable, educational,
stimulating, nurturing and affordable for children of all levels of
development.
Sunrise Childcare Awarded QRS Level 2 Rating!
Iowa’s Quality Rating System (QRS) is
a voluntary child care rating system for child development homes, licensed
child care centers and preschools, and Child care programs that are operated by
school districts. The QRS was developed to raise the quality of child care in
Iowa, to
increase the number of children in high-quality child care settings, and to
educate parents about quality in child care.
QRS has five levels indicated by the number of stars on a provider’s
certificate. This summer Sunrise
Childcare worked hard to achieve this level of quality and was awarded a level
2 rating two weeks ago. We have made a
commitment to providing quality childcare and education to the children in our
community. Next year when we move into
our new childcare center we will strive to achieve an even higher rating with
QRS. Thank you to the parents and the
community for all of your support you have given us.
