What is a Remedy? (Free Gift)
 Remedies are natural products designed to enhance your emotional or mental state and may help when someone is studying, travelling (fear or flying etc) and may help with the stress and anxiety during times like childbirth, moving home, divorce, getting married, first day at school or in a new job - the list goes on and on. The best known is called 'Rescue Remedy' by Dr. Bach. He developed a whole range of remedies to help with anything from fear to jealousy. Remedies seem to work really well for children and animals as well as you!
Brief descriptions of various types of remedy you can use include:
Flower Remedies
A flower remedy is commonly made by laying flower heads onto spring water and leaving to infuse outside in sunlight. This is called taking a 'blueprint' of the flower which is then drained and carefully preserved using 50% alcohol to 50% flower water. This is known as the 'mother tincture'. Drops of this are then added to a mix of water and alcohol and become a stock bottle. A practitioner would then use this stock bottle to make up a remedy bottle for a client. Most flower remedies are taken for 21 days with 4 drops taken 4 times a day.
Aura Remedies
The Ananuka Healing Remedies are a set of specially gifted energies used for repairing the energy field around us. The set has 13 Remedies in total.
 Energy Remedies
Energy remedies are similar to homeopathic type remedies but are made on a 'Potentiser' or 'radionics box'. Basically anything can be copied and made into a remedy. This is also how many test kits are made for Kinesiologists. So for instance you can take a Vitamin C capsule and copy it into a vial containing sugar pills, thus creating a 'copy of Vitamin C' to test with or for use in other ways by a practitioner.
Colour Remedies
Colour remedies are made in various ways which include placing water into coloured bottles and placing in sunlight to energise the water with the colour of the glass. This only works with real coloured glass and not painted glass. Our remedies are made on special crystal colour plates which energise sugar pills, water or glass with the energy of each colour. There are 22 colours available at present. These are used within a treatment to enhance the chakra system.
 Gem Remedies
Gem stones are used in place of flowers and made in a similar way to a flower remedy. The usage is also similar. Gems work differently to flower remedies and tend to be used differently during a treatment.
Homeopathic Remedies
Homeopathy is an old medical system developed by Dr. Samuel Hanneman between 1790 and 1800. He worked by taking one part of the starter substance (usually called a Mother Tincture). This is then mixed with 100 parts water and alcohol, shaken hard in an enclosed glass tube with at least 50 successions. One part of this is then diluted again in 100 parts of water and alcohol, and then the process is repeated. When this has been done 6 times you have created a low potency homeopathic medicine. Use of these can be useful for many niggling problems and is also useful as a desensitising programme for intolerance type symptoms. Remedies are widely available in chemists and health shops, however only a professional homeopath can dispense higher dose remedies. (This is for information only)
