WE HAVE DISCONTINUED SELLING FARM-FRESH EGGS as we have downsized our laying hens!
We had to make room for more breeder pens.  Occasionally we may still have 1 dozen available.

We are a small "Ma & Pa" facility located next to the Dimple Dell Equestrian trails in Sandy, UT.
HORSE BOARDING  Full-Care $250 and Half-Care $125  Each covered stall has its own run.
For details click the "Horse Boarding" link in the left margin.

Day-old chicks of Blue Laced Red Wyandottes & Anconas arrived 4/25 & 5/2.  LOTS of Female BLRW's Left!
Silkies Born 4/24 10 Buffs & 9 Blacks & 4 White Sultans Left, all straight run, of course.  2 White Silkies born 5/13.  We're now hatching Silkie chicks weekly from our Blue Splash & White breeding flock!  PLEASE NOTE: I do not brood Silkie chicks for anyone, nor any bantams which arrive straight run; only female egg-laying pullets which I have shipped-in.  However, I will brood any unsold Barnevelder, Marans, & Ameraucana hatchlings since I have an outlet for the males.

We have new nipple-valve style 2-Quart Waterers FOR CHICKS
for $102-Gallons for $15.  I include a clamp for you to clamp it right onto the side of your brooder tote & train your baby chicks from DAY ONE!  Then you have the perfect system for them to graduate into the coop with, too!  Or you may purchase the valves from us for $3 each or 4/$10 and make your own.

My OLDEST group of COOP-READY started pullets turned 10 weeks old on May 14th!
I've already transitioned them to a pen in my barn with no heat during the day.
I only turn on the heat lamp on cold nights.  They're almost gone, so don't wait!
The next oldest groups are 8, 7, and 6 weeks old and are also in pens now!
The four oldest groups consist of Lots of Rhode Island Reds, 2 Partridge Rocks, 2 Dark & 1 Light Brahma, 1 Mottled Java,
1 Silver Leghorn, 1 Silver Lakenvelder, 2 Iowa Blues, 1 Blue Andalusian & 1 Blue Langshan.
You only need to brood chicks under heat until 5-6 weeks of age.  That is when they're ready to move out into your coop!
Reserve future "COOP READY" six-week-old female chicks by email With Phone #.  All are vaccinated for Marek's.  Please EMAIL ONLY!  I cannot write orders down, answer the phone, mind the store and tend to all my baby chicks and adult birds, too!  Emails help me have a REAL RECORD I can reply a confirmation from.  Please be understanding.  There's only one of me!
As of May 14 th, the following COMMON BREED Pullet CHICKS were available:
NOTE: This is what they will look like as Adults!  They're sold as baby chicks so you can hold 'em, pet 'em, and tame 'em to be your friend!

Mottled Javas came to the United States from the Far East and are named after the Island of Java. Javas played a role in the development of the Jersey Giant, the Rhode Island Red, and the Plymouth Rock.  They were a very popular dual-purpose brown egg breed during the 19th Century. Currently they are kept primarily for exhibition and for their uniqueness. Mottled Java chicks are some of the most uniquely beautiful of all chicks with a distinct mottled color pattern. They look like bumble bees.  They have black backs and their soft fluffy down being light creamy yellow.

  • 25 Silver Laced Wyandottes...should be laying by March/April
These pullet chicks may be purchased as day-olds or any from this list may be reserved for me to brood for 6 weeks.  They MUST be picked up by Saturday, September 15th as 6-week-old "COOP READY" pullets.  You may rent a portable rabbit cage from me for $10 to keep them in while they grow to at least three months old before merging them with your older Big chickens!.  I'll take care of them for you through Labor Day weekend so you DON'T have to worry about them!
Since mid-April, we've been hatching and selling chicks from OUR RARE BREEDING FLOCKS of: PUREBRED Barnevelders, Blue LangshansBantams Silkies in White & Blue Splash, Blue Ameraucanas (these are NOT hatchery Easter Eggers), Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, Blue Splash Marans.  Any thing we hatch here are All Sold Straight Run!  But if I have older chicks, you may be able to pick out females.  But bear in mind that if you end up with a male and cannot keep it, YOU will have to determine what to do with it!  I cannot take them back!  I can give you a list of names or people from Ogden to Orem who will buy roosters and old hens from you.  Mid-May and later, we hope to be hatching and selling many colors of Muskovy Ducks, & VERY RARE Blue Cayuga ducks.
Our new "POULET CHALET"

Work is almost finished on our  large "POULET CHALET".
The cement was poured with a 2% slope for cleaning; the walls have now been finished with siding.  The barn is all painted barn-red now & is trimmed with white.  The metal roof has been installed.  It even has skylights.  We have a warm 6X12 insulated "Brooder Room" where you choose your chicks.

John Dansie, owner of "All-Cooped Up" is doing the finish work for me!  He custom builds Chicken Coops, Green houses, dog houses, rabbit hutches, aviaries, solar sheds, Sand boxes, & kids' play houses. His website ishttp://www.all-coopedup.com/

                                   OUR SEBASTOPOL GEESE
Our 7 EXTREMELY RARE & EXOTIC Sebastopol Geese are doing VERY WELL.    These geese DON'T FLY (so even a 2' fence keeps them contained); they are good with kids, VERY TAME, and are great bug zappers and lawn mowers.
They are SO BEAUTIFUL with their rare and exotic Pure White Curly feathers!
They graciously posed for this picture last summer.  We were hoping some goslings would hatch this year.  But sadly, zero Sebastopol eggs hatched.
On May 4th, all 6 mother geese gave up and left their nests!

INDIA BLUE PEAFOWL day-old chicks will be $35!
We got our 1st egg from them on May 12th, but I'll wait until I get a few more before putting them in the incubator.
We now are breeding SILKIES in JUST TWO COLORS, White and Blue Splash.
But I can order other colors such as: Partridge, Black, Red, & Buff.
Silkies are sold STRAIGHT RUN, meaning "as hatched" for $5-$6 each.
Silkies are MINIATURE bantam chickens and adults only get up to 32-36 ounces!

BLUE  LACED  RED  WYANDOTTES
We will be breeding and hatching  BLRW chicks.

To the left is one of our blue ribbon winning Blue Laced Red Wyandottes.  Next is "Mr. Kelloggs", our Blue Wheaten Ameraucana rooster at the Salt Lake County Fair with two of his Blue Ameraucana wives.  The trio won a Blue Ribbon.  PLUS "Mr. Kelloggs" won RESERVE CHAMPION of the "All Other Classes" (A.O.C.) division.

  • In 2011, I invested $1,000 on 4 new table-top brooders like this picture so I could house and better care for 100's of chicks.  So my KSL ads mention I brood chicks for people for a mere $1 per week added to the initial cost of chick.

PULLET GUARANTEE
As of September 2010, for Bio-Security reasons, we NO LONGER guarantee the gender of the chicks and take back roosters (whether farm-hatched or hatchery-sexed).
As we order in Hatchery-sexed chicks with THEIR 90% guaranteed accuracy, the few people who end up with cockerels can contact me for a list of people who will buy these cockerels from you.
Or you can keep them, or place an ad on KSL.com.
