They were immunized for Marek's as day-olds. The following Common Breeds will be $10 each: Choose from Barred Rocks, Gold Sex Links, Buff Orpingtons, Rhode Island Reds, New Hampshire Reds, Production Reds & Calif Whites (like Leg Horns). Somewhat Rare Breeds $11 each: Ameraucanas and Rhode Island Whites Very Rare Breeds will be $16 each: Salmon Faverolles and Blue Andalusians.
NOTE: I was unable to order for January arrival Black Sex Links, Black Australorps, White Rocks, Silver Laced Wyandottes, Barnevelders, Buckeyes, Blue & Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, Blue Langshans, Welsummers, Mottled Javas, Russian Orloffs, Blue Cochins, Golden & Silver Lakenvelders, Delawares, Brahmas (Dark, Light, Buff), and feather-shanked Cuckoo Marans. But All these breeds will be arriving on March 9th,16th, 23rd & 30th.

Choose your waterer first, then choose a heater. The 2 gallon waterers are $15 each (up to 9 hens) and the 5 gallon waterers are $25 each (up to 15 chickens at 3 chickens per valve). It literally takes a chicken ONE SECOND to figure out how to get water! NO JOKE!

We will have new nipple-style chick waterers & inexpensive plastic tote-style brooders made up for you to buy! The normal regular breeds for $4 each are: Barred Rock, Black Australorp, Buff Orpington, Black Sex Link, Gold Sex Link, White Leg Horn, & Rhode Island Red. The normal RARE breed PULLETS for $4.50 each are: Delaware, Ameraucana Easter Egger, Speckled Sussex, Silver Laced Wyandottes, Golden Laced Wyandottes, Silver (Barred) Leg Horns which are supposed to lay as well as White Leg Horns, but have better protection against predators.
THE EXTREMELY & VERY RARE breed PULLETS for $10.00 each are: Dark Brahma, Light Brahma, Mottled Java, Blue Andalusians, Blue Cochins, Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, Blue Wyandottes, Blue Langshans, Buckeyes, Buff Plymouth Rocks, Iowa Blues, Egyptian Fayoumis, Partridge Plymouth Rocks, Russian Orloffs, Salmon Faverolles, Sicilian Buttercup, Silver Spangled Hamburg, Silver Lakenvelder, Golden Lakenvelder & Welsummer. The EXTREMELY, VERY, VERY RARE & HARD TO GET breed PULLETS for $12 each are: Barnevelder PULLETS & feather-shanked Cuckoo Marans PULLETS are arriving Mar 7th & Mar 21st. I feel fortunate I got my orders in early January into several hatcheries so I can make a lot of customers HAPPY!  I have a LOT of $$ invested in these shipments, so I hope I've ordered what everyone wants. I haven't worked on Guineas, Easter Ducks, nor April shipments, yet; nor Polish or Silkies, which all have to be straight run, as hatched, anyway, so just know that up front. Guineas ONLY ship June-October. Sometimes I can order in something special you don't see in this list. The BEST egg-laying Ducks are: Khaki Campbells (over 300 per year) & Runner Ducks! We sell Ducklings starting in March. Starting late February 2012, we will hatch and sell chicks from OUR RARE BREEDING FLOCKS of: PUREBRED Blue Ameraucanas (NOT Easter Eggers), Blue Langshans, Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, Blue Splash Marans, Blue Copper Marans, Barnevelders, and Silkie Bantams in White & Blue Splash. These Are All Sold Straight Run! But if I have older chicks, you may be able to pick out females. But bear in mind that if you end up with a male and cannot keep it, YOU will have to determine what to do with it! I cannot take them back! I can give you a list of names or people from Ogden to Orem who will buy roosters and old hens from you. We will also be hatching and selling India Blue Peacocks, Muskovy Ducks, & RARE Blue Cayuga Ducks.

Our new "POULET CHALET"
Work is almost finished on our large "POULET CHALET". The cement was poured with a 2% slope for cleaning; the walls have now been finished with siding. The barn is all painted barn-red now & is trimmed with white. The metal roof has been installed. It even has skylights. We also have a 6X12 insulated "Brooder Room" just to the right of the front door. John Dansie, owner of "All-Cooped Up" is doing the finish work for me! He custom builds Chicken Coops, Green houses, dog houses, rabbit hutches, aviaries, solar sheds, Sand boxes, & kids' play houses. His website is: http://www.all-coopedup.com/

Our 7 EXTREMELY RARE & EXOTIC Sebastopol Geese are doing VERY WELL and enjoying frolicking in the yard and swimming in their kiddie-pool. These geese DON'T FLY (so even a 2' fence keeps them contained); they are good with kids, VERY TAME, and are great bug zappers and lawn mowers. They are SO BEAUTIFUL with their rare and exotic Pure White Curly feathers!

Silkies are sold STRAIGHT RUN, meaning "as hatched" for $5-$6 each.
Silkies are MINIATURE bantam chickens and adults only get up to 32-36 ounces!

To the left is one of our blue ribbon winning Blue Laced Red Wyandottes. Next is "Mr. Kelloggs", our Blue Wheaten Ameraucana rooster at the Salt Lake County Fair with two of his Blue Ameraucana wives. The trio won a Blue Ribbon. PLUS "Mr. Kelloggs" won RESERVE CHAMPION of the "All Other Classes" (A.O.C.) division. In 2011, I invested $765 on three new table-top brooders like this picture so I could house and better care for 100's of chicks. So in EARLY SPRING, only, my KSL ads mention I brood chicks for people for a mere $1 per week added to the initial cost of the chick. (Not available in summer months)
PULLET GUARANTEE
As of September 2010, for Bio-Security reasons, we are NO LONGER guaranteeing the gender of the chicks and taking back roosters (whether farm-hatched or hatchery-sexed). In the future, as we order in Hatchery-sexed chicks with THEIR 90% guaranteed accuracy, the few people who end up with cockerels can contact me for a list of people who will buy these cockerels from you. Or you can keep them or place an ad on KSL.com. |
