What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, they say.  I hope this is true of our crops as we suffered a huge deer attack last week.  The started on the frnch beans, moved onto the courgettes and rounded it all off with peas, salad and chard!  This completely ruined two of our delivery rounds last week and we appologise to our customers for this 'force majeur'.  We are great lovers of wildilfe, but frankly we are off deer for the moment!

Freshly picked crops have more taste and health giving enzymes is a well quoted fact and I will dig out some references to back this up, but I think that Carrots illustrate the point perfectly.  If you order nothing else this week, order carrots as you cant beat the taste of a freshly picked Carrot!  Do a taste challenge with a supermarket organic carrot.  There will be no turning back!!
