This theme was hacked together after looking through the official Ubuntu Dapper and Variety Brushed gdm themes. the svg background is also licensed under the GPL. Iis called waves, it was created by Jakub 'jimmac' Steiner, and it can be found on his site. Several people seem to like this theme. I must admit that I'm a little surprised by it's popularity. As of 32/29/07, I know of Five derivative themes, Ive found the theme hosted on about a dozen different sites I'd never submitted it to, and it's had more than seven thousand downloads in the first three months from just two of those.

This theme started life as a copy of the GNOME circles theme. My second publicly released GDM theme. the background was canabalied from the Swirl SVG background by volvoguy, on art.ubuntu.com, modified in inkskape with a nice gradient from the gimp, and is also released as gpl. I'm still doing alot of exploring on the svg front, so this will remain a png for now.
Based on the Sunergos Grey GDM theme, This one features a tiny scrolling user list. If you use login photos, it should show just one user at a time.
