Coaches:
"Coach O", better known now as Johno, Ryan and Rachel's dad, was a high school diving coach in a former life. He will lead group lessons and facilitate planning of private sessions.

Ryan Oberly, a Creek grad who got his start at Sundance, was Centennial League Champion in 2010 and a state finalist in 2009 and 2010. Ryan helped revive the Sundance Dive Club so that our young Sailfish have the same opportunity he had, to discover the fun and thrill of diving in a supportive environment.
Ryan is available by appointment.

Stephanie Sullan, a long-time Sundance Kid and Creek Diver will be conducting the group sessions with Coach O. She has a great rapport with new divers.

All coaches are trained in
safe, positive coaching, and are committed to that "special kind of fun" that is athletic success.

Who can join (Qualifications): Must be sufficiently confident and able as swimmers to jump or dive from the side to the bottom of the deep end, and return to the side without holding their nose or requiring rescue.
7-8 year olds typically
have the attention, communication and coordination to start learning diving skills. However, we will be happy to evaluate younger divers.  All ages are welcome but groups typically sort out by age: 8-10, 11-up; and ability/experience: absolute beginner, self-taught experimenter, pre-intermediate with some skills or training in diving, trampoline or gymnastics.

Session Dates: For 2011 the good news is we have new boards and refurbished towers. Unfortunately, the work cut in to Coach O's time and reduced the number of available sessions. We will just pack the fun a little more tightly on the calendar.
