Urban Growth Boundaries - In 1999, municipalities within Sumner County also identified areas where growth and development were most likely to occur within the next 20 years. These areas were adopted as part of an Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) Map. Cities cannot annex areas outside of their UGBs.
