Rezoning property requires that an application and an application fee be submitted to the Construction & Development Department. Submit a site plan for review, publish in the local newspaper a public hearing notice, notify the adjoining property owners, and appear before the Sumner County Regional Planning Commission for consideration. Rezoning signage is required for all property(s); at the time of application submittal provide the amount of road frontage in feet, and how many roads the property fronts. Sign(s) remain the property of Sumner County Government. Refer to the Rezoning Procedures for more information.

A second public hearing is also required to appear before the Sumner County Board of Commissioners for final consideration.
