  Comrie is situated at the confluence of the River Earn and 2 of its tributaries the River Leadnock and the Ruchil Water. It is a Beautiful Area of Perthshire with many local waymarked walks, and for the more energetic the Local Munros of Bein Choinzie (which has an abundancy of Mountain Hares) and Ben Vorlich overlooking Loch Earn with its Watersports centre and boat hire. For Golfers there are also 3 local Golf Courses to choose from
Local Fishing is available on the River Earn, Leadnock and Ruchil at very reasonable rates around £12.00/day until 30th Sept 2008 for Salmon, Sea Trout, Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Permits are available from the Delicatessen in Drummond Street
Comrie and its local Woodlands and Mountains have an abundance of Birds and Wildlife, Red Kites now breed locally also Blackcock can still be found.
