White Chocolate Pecan Cookies

Sugar Pies

Ingredients:

1/2 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tblsp. cocoa powder
1 c. white chocolate chips
1/4 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 350°F. Cream butter until light. Gradually add sugar, creaming well until blended. Beat in vanilla and egg. Sift together flour, salt and soda. Add flour mixture to butter mixture, blending well. Blend in cocoa powder until well incorporated. Stir in white chocolate and pecans. Drop by level tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 12 minutes until golden. Remove to wire racks to cool.

Allow cookies to cool completely and drizzle with melted white chocolate.
