Step 1• Choose
foundation that matches your skin tone exactly. • Apply it in dots over the central part of your face • Blend it
out with a makeup brush or your fingertips until it covers your entire face Brushes to use: Foundation brush, Flat Foundation brush, Stippling
brush

Step 2 • Apply a concealer that is
one shade lighter than your foundation. • Dot it
on under-eye circles and moustache area and blend with a brush • To
conceal acne and blemishes, use one shade darker. Brushes to use: Concealer brush
Step 3 • Use a
loose or pressed powder to keep foundation and concealer on
longer. • Use
pressed powder to touch up when you’re away from home. Brushes to use: Powder brush, Stippling brush, Kabuki brush
Step 4 • Use a brow comb to fix unruly eyebrows if needed. • Use
powdered eyebrow shadow on brows instead of pencil, which can often look
unnatural. • Apply it with a hard, slanted brush • Start
with the highest point of the arch, then follow the line of your eyebrows. Fill
in the rest after. Brushes to use: Brow brush, Full
Brow brush, Brow Comb
Step 5 • Choose three colors of eye shadow: light, medium, and dark 1.Apply Lightest shade (base) – all over the eye area starting under the eyebrow 2.Apply Medium shade (2nd color) –half of the eye area (eye socket area) 3.Apply Dark shade (3rd color) – if you have a double eyelid, then apply eyeshadow into the area of the double eyelid. If you don’t have a double eyelid, then apply eyeshadow over the eye socket area to make your eyes look bigger. 4.Blend blend blend Brushes to use: Eyeshadow brushes (for eyeshadow application), Bullet brush or Smudge brush (for blending)
Step 6
•Apply
eyeliner. - This is an option, to achieve a darker and bigger eye look. Use an eyeliner to line the lower lid (just below the lower lashes). Line only the outer two-thirds of the lower lid, or all the way across if you’re trying to achieve a darker look. - For an everyday look, line all the way across the upper lid (just above the lash line and as close to the lashes as possible) or start the line where your lashes begin. Brushes to use: Eyeliner brush, Eye definer brush
Step 7 • Apply mascara to upper lashes, in two thin coats to avoid clumpiness. Make sure you put mascara on the base of the lashes as well (with a zigzag-up) motion so that it will hold up well •Choose brown mascara if your coloring is fair; black or brown-black works well for darker coloring. Brushes to use: Mascara brush, Brow Comb (to remove any clumping)
Step 8
•Smile to
find the apples of your cheeks
•Apply
blush to the apples or below, whichever you prefer. Brush upwards and outwards
Brushes to use: Blush brush, Angled
Blush brush, Mini Kabuki Brush
Step 9 •Choose a
lipstick color that’s suited to your skin tone and that’s perfect for your day
look •You can
mix colors and textures to suit your moods and your outfits Brushes to use: Lip Brush
Step 10 •Line lips
after applying lipstick, not before. That way you won’t end up with a dark
circle of lip liner after your lipstick has worn off. •Avoid
combining very dark lip liner and pale lipstick.
• (optional) Apply a lip gloss on top of your lipstick so that you get a shiny effect.

Step 1• Dust or
wipe off excess makeup left on your brushes after each use. • Use a
soft cloth or tissue and take care not to pull on the bristles too roughly. • Build-up
causes brushes to lose effectiveness and the bristles to break down.
Step 2 • Store
your brushes in a case or bag to keep them dry and prevent dust build-up. • Most
brush kits come with a special case designed specifically for the brushes. If
you don’t have a kit, consider using an eyeglass case for storage.
Step 3 • Keep
your brushes in a flat or upright position when storing to maintain their shape.
- Tap or shake excess powders from the brush after
every use. If you are using different colors, pour a small amount of solution on paper
towels/tissue, wipe brushes on it until the color comes off.
- Pour solution into a small container and dilute with some water (1:1 ratio). Just enough to cover the bristles of your brush.
- Dip
the bristles of your brush into the solution and allow to soak for a
few minutes until particles come off. Slightly stir the brush in the
solution before removing.
- Then
rinse the bristles of the brush under running water while running your
fingers over the bristles gently. TAKE CARE not to wet further than the
ferrule (metal part that holds the bristles together) because the
wooden handle should not get wet.
- Wipe with paper towel and leave to dry FLAT on a clean towel.
• Cleaning
regularly inhibits bacteria growth and prevents bristle corrosion
