·        Estimate the number of pieces of candy you have in your Trick or Treat bucket.

·        Columbus made his first voyage in 1492. How many years ago was that?

·        Use your measuring skills and make a batch of caramel apples to share with your family.

·        Calculate how many hours you will spend trick or treating.

·        Estimate the number of pumpkin seeds in your jack o’ lantern.

·        Estimate the weight of your pumpkin. Then weigh it on a scale.

·        Figure out how many apples it takes to make 5 pounds.

·        Use a tape measure and measure the circumference of your pumpkin.

·        If everyone in your family picks a pumpkin at the pumpkin patch, order them from heaviest to lightest.

·        Keep a chart of the temperature in one week and graph the changes. Think: Are you more likely or less likely to have temperatures in the 80’s or 60’s in October?
