Races| April 03, 2010 | Massillon YMCA Tiger Trot 5K - a nice day for April with temperatures near 70 at race time and party cloudy skies. | | April 10, 2010 | Portage Lakes Run to the Beach 5K - a nice sunny day with brisk temperatures near 40 at the start of the race. This was and interesting race starting near the beach, winding through the park on roads and paths near the beach, finally ending with a long run down the beach. About 630 runners and walkers participated. | | April 17, 2010 | Earth Day Trail Run 3.4 Mile - a brisk day with temperatures near 50 under mostly cloudy skies at the 1:00 PM race start. This trail run features a start in 3 waves with 2:00 minutes between each wave. This race is operated by Sally and Terry Lewis. If you had fun, remember to say thanks the next time you see them and tell others to go to this race next year. | | May 7, 2010 | Medina Run 4 Fun 5K - A evening run at the Medina High School. The weather was warm with temperatures in the high 70's and high humidity due to thunderstorms moving in from the west. The storms held off to allow over 500 folk to enjoy the race. Some of the first pictures are of the kids who ran the 1/2 mile kids race. Some photos are not as sharp as I like, I blame the camera and the lower light conditions. The sun shown at the start of the race followed by cloudly skies shortly thereafter. | | July 10, 2010 | Maize Valley Winery Cross Country 5K - this race started at 5:00 PM on a mostly sunny day with temperatures in the mid 80's and a light breeze. | | July 17,2010 | Foster Hope For Our Kids 5K - a beautiful sunny morning with temperatures in the 70's offer a great day for this challenging course starting near Smith Elementary School in Massillon and winding through the streets back into Reservoir Park for a finish on the path. | | July 24, 2010 | Aultman Hospital Bee Healthy 5 Mile - a beautiful morning with temperatures near 80 and a light breeze. Thanks for a great race Aultman. | | August 1, 2010 | Hall of Fame Festival 5 Mile - the race began at 8:50 AM Sunday with temperatures in the high 70's and partly cloudy skies. | | August 8, 2010 | Twinsburg Twins Day 5K - a beautiful Sunday morning race with a 9:00 AM start, low 80's for temperature with beautiful skies. | | August 14, 2010 | CanalWay Classic 5K - another beautiful day in northeastern Ohio with temperatures near 80 and a mostly sunny sky at the 9:00 AM start of this race. Thanks to Stark Parks for the sponsorship and to Nickels Bakery for the classy bags and baked goods for all runners. A week run race in the Subway Challenge Elite series with full start and finish time to provide accurate net run times for all runners. Temperatures in the high 40's with partly cloudy skies and very little breeze. Well organized race in its 3rd year. | | October 23, 2010 | Miles for Mandy 5K - A 5K race held in North Canton, Ohio. The weather was great, temperatures in the low 60's, with cloudly skies and a very light breeze. A nice city course with a few gradual hills and good traffic control.
