| Louisville St. Patricks Day 5K - a good day for a race at about 35 degrees with partly cloudy skies. 350 + participants registered for this race.

| Massillon Tiger Trot 5K - a blustery day for a race at about 39 degrees at race time. We started with sunny skies and a brisk breeze. A great turn out for the first annual race. From the looks of the start photos the race should have about 175 to 200 participants. Thanks to the Massillon YMCA for a great job organizing and running the race.

| Earth Day 3.4 Mile Trail Run - a beautiful day for a race with temperatures in the low 70's at race time and Sunny skies. This race featured about 180 runners and walkers. Racers followed the trails through the woods looping around much of the Wilderness Center expanse, finishing with a loop around the lake and the a race to the finish.

| Canton South Wildcat Run - a great day for a race with temperatures near 80, sunny skies and a medium breeze by the end of the race. Racers followed the course starting in front of the high school, looping out into the neighborhood and returning to finish in the stadium.

| Medina Run.4.Run - a rainy day proceeded this race. Temperatures at 7:30 pm hovered around in the low 60's with a light but gusting wind. The bulk of the race was run under overcast skies with light rain being at around 35 minutes into the race. 600 plus runners and walkers.

| Jeep Davis Memorial 5K, Barberton - a nice morning for a run with temperatures in the low 50's. The race started at 8:00 AM from the lake in the center of town, featuring a flat course. With the trees in the park in full bloom, it was a beautiful setting for a race with in excess of 200 runners.

| Canal Fulton 5K Mother of All Races - a cloudy morning with temperatures in the low 60's at the start of the race. The race started at 8:30 AM from the Northwest High School. The local roads shone with a light coat of water from an overnight rain.

| Wooster Wellness 5K - a beautiful partly sunny morning with temperatures around 60 degrees at the start of the race. The race started at 9:00 AM from near the Fischer Auditorium on the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Campus (OARDC). A great race with in excess of 220 finishers. [I used a different camera this week, so if you are fuzzy I apologize. It has to be the camera.]

| Sherer's Chip Chase 5K - an evening race that wound through the streets of Brewster and featured additional food and rides in conjunction with the Rail and Spike Festival. The race start at 7:30 PM, with temperatures in the low 70's, under partly sunny skies. Over three hundred runners and walkers participated.

| The Gladiators Race Finish Fit - a beautiful day for racing, sunny skies with temperatures near 70. The race started at 8:30 AM for 10K runners and at 8:45 AM for 5 K runners (that is why the photos show two starts), with 5 and 10K runners finishing together. Thank goodness for computer timing.

| Louisville YMCA 2 Mile and 10K Races -another beautiful morning for races with temperatures near 70 at race time. This site had a 2 mile race that started at 8:00 AM and a 10K that started at 8:45 AM. The photos show the start of the two mile race and several finishers, then the start of the 10K with photos at 2 and 5.8 miles and some at the finish. The Challenge series picnic was held at Hartville after the races and is shown in later photos. Thanks to the Lewis's for all they do to make the Challenge series fun and family friendly.

| Maize Valley Winery 5K -a great morning for a race with temperatures in the mid 70's at the 9 AM race time, a light breeze and some humidity that made the runners labor toward the end of the race. My wife (the runner) and I were vacationing for a couple of weeks so we missed some great races. It is good to be back with friends.

| Camp Mowana 5K - a brisk morning for a run with temperature near 60 and partly sunny skies at the 9 AM start. Camp Mawana is located just about 2 miles northeast to Mansfield in a beautiful forested setting. The race took place entirely on the camp property; a true crosscountry race with lots of shade.

| Run for Zak - after a week of rain and a rainy start to the day, the weather cleared and the race was run under sunny skies at 7 PM in New Philidelphia. About 100 runners turned out. The course was flat winding thru the streets, producing good times for many runners.

| Twinsburg 5K - a warm morning with cloudy skies at the start of the race evolved into a bright sunny morning with temperatures in the 80's and some humidity that added stress to many runners. Over 300 runners participated with a beautiful run along a paved trail with a great finish along the track.

| Canalway Classic 5K - great morning for a run with temperatures near 60 and fog at 6:00 AM that burned off to a partly sunny race start at 9:00 and temperature in the lower 70's. Thanks again to Stark Parks for a great run through the park starting at John Glenn Grove .
