Podcast- A recording that you can listen to on your computer. It's called a podcast because people began listening to these recordings on Ipods. It's the same idea as a cassette tape. Podcasts just record to a file on your computer rather than to a CD or cassette.Blog- A journal. The term came from the name Web Logs. It was quickly shortened to Blog in the computer community. A blog can be on any topic. Simply write entries as often or as seldom as you like. The main difference between a Blog and a paper journal is that readers can post comments on a Blog. |
