April 28th Visit to Air National Guard

We are visiting the Air Guard on April 28th at 6:30.  Let your den leader know if you will be able to attend or not.  The Air Guard will have people stay to show us what they do, so it will be helpful to have a relatively accurate count of people.  This will replace the April Pack Meeting and will be an opportunity for the boys and parents to see a lot of cool stuff used by the Air Guard.
 
Some parents will be meeting at the old gym parking lot and leaving St. Thomas at 6:00, so if you want to caravan to the Air Guard, meet there just prior to 6:00.

  1. Start out going SOUTH on N MONROE AVE toward E ROUSE AVE.  0.5 mi
  2. Turn RIGHT onto US-150 W/E WAR MEMORIAL DR.  2.6 mi
  3. Merge onto I-74 W toward GALESBURG/I-74 W.  2.8 mi
  4. Merge onto I-474 E via EXIT 87A toward INDIANAPOLIS.  5.5 mi
  5. Take the AIRPORT ROAD exit, EXIT 5.  0.5 mi
  6. Turn LEFT onto AIRPORT RD.  1.4 mi
  7. Turn RIGHT onto W SMITHVILLE RD.  1.7 mi
  8. Turn RIGHT onto S FALCON BLVD.  0.2 mi
  9. End at 2416 S Falcon Blvd Peoria, IL 61607

Once you get to the base, proceed straight ahead and the building at the end of the street will be the right building.
