SCHOOL UNIFORMS

 

All students are required to wear a white cotton shirt or white polo shirt with a patch that is the school’s SEAL sewn on the upper left side.  The patch is being sold in the School’s bookstore for $2.00 each.

All students must wear black shoes with white socks.  Boys in Grades 6-12 may wear black or white socks. No frilly socks nor heels higher than 1 ½” for girls in all grades. All boys are required to wear a black pants belt.


PLEASE NOTE: Girls are NOT allowed to wear "ballerina" type or "flat" shoes like the ones pictured below:

12th GRADE

Girls shall wear a white shirt with pleated plaid skirt and matching plaid vest with the  school patch sewn on the upper left side of the vest.  Vests may be purchased from Mia’s Fashions in Fort Mylner.  Girls’ ties (plaid) are also mandatory  and are available for purchase in the school’s bookstore.  Ties and vests must be worn daily during school hours. Only Senior girls may wear vests & heels up to 2”, with nylons or socks.

Boys shall wear navy blue pants and white shirt or polo with the patch sewn on upper left.  Plaid tie must be worn daily during school hours. Ties may be purchased in the school’s bookstore.

8th GRADE

Girls shall wear a solid navy blue pleated skirt and white blouse or polo with the school patch sewn on upper left.  Navy blue girls’ ties must be worn daily during school hours. These may be purchased from Mia’s Fashions and are identical to the CAHS girls’ tie. Girls shall not be permitted to wear ballerina type shoes nor shoes with heels higher than 1 ½” since both types are dangerous on stairs.

Boys shall wear navy blue pants with white shirt or polo with the school patch sewn on the upper left side.  Navy blue ties must be worn daily during school hours.  Ties may be purchased at Mia’s fashions.

GRADES 9-11

Girls shall wear pleated plaid skirts and white cotton blouses or polos with the school’s seal sewn on the upper left side. Girls shall not be permitted to wear ballerina type shoes nor shoes with heels higher than 1 ½” since both types are dangerous on stairs

Boys shall wear navy blue pants and white cotton shirts or polos with the school’s seal sewn on the upper left side. Black belts are required.

 

 GRADE Jr. K – GRADE 7

Girls shall wear a solid navy blue pleated skirt (or Jumper  at the lower elementary levels) and white blouse or white polo with the school’s seal sewn on the upper left side.  NOTE:  If jumpers are worn ( at the lower elementary levels), the seal must be sewn on the upper left of the jumper since it is not visible on the blouse under the jumper.

Girls shall not be permitted to wear ballerina type shoes nor shoes with heels higher than 1 ½” since both types are dangerous on stairs.

Boys shall wear navy blue pants with white shirts or polos with the school’s seal sewn on the upper left side.  Long pants are required from the 6th grade up. Black belts are required.

***SPECIAL NOTICE TO PARENTS AND STUDENTS***

Parents shall be called if students arrive at school in non-compliance with the Dress Code. 

Also, please note that although polo shirts are permitted for regular school attendance, students MUST wear cotton shirts or blouses with the school’s seal (1)when attending church service, and (2)when representing the school or attending  any function outside the school .  Polos are allowed ONLY within the school environs on a daily basis.  However, polos  are also allowed at sporting events whether on or off campus.  Girls’tight fitting blouses are NOT allowed nor are extra large baggy pants on boys. Colored undergarments cannot be worn under shirts and blouses, especially if the colors are visible through the shirt or blouse. Please be forewarned of the Dress Code especially when students are scheduled for events outside of the school grounds, since students will not be permitted to attend functions with their class outside of the school if they are in non-compliance with the Dress Code. 

*Sweat Shirts/Jackets/Sweaters in BLUE or RED colors ONLY may be worn on chilly days.*
