Bibliography Page Uploaded

I have created a Bibliography Page.  It lists all sources used in my research.  This list includes United States census citations and other secondary historical sources.  Later updates will add links to extracted documents in the library, or to online versions of books and census data.

Library received the following documents or extracts:
  • Highland County Ohio 1807 tax list,
  • Marriage records of Highland County Ohio,

  • Marriage records or Ross County Ohio.

A couple web pages also received attached documents:

All these documents previously were with google documents and have been deleted from there.

Minor site improvements have been made:
  1. Library page created that has documents pertaining to more than one STROUP family, or I felt they were of historical note or pertinent to open research questions.
  2. Added father and mothers to all family pages and also linked them together.
  3. Built a miniature family tree on the home page to aid navigation and searching.

Marriage Certificate for Michael Stroup and Mary Walker

posted ‎‎Jan 3, 2009 6:07 AM‎‎ by William Stroup

Currently working with a volunteer in Ross County, OH to find the marriage certificate or return for Michael and May Walker Stroup.  An entry in a marriage record book, at the Courthouse, was found, but no actual certificate as of yet.  My volunteer is being assisted by the courthouse workers.

The home page was totally re-written to talk about what this site is, and some pointers on navigation.  All family group pages were updated to remove attachments, and simply point to books readily retrievable from Google Books, or to point to scans/images i have uploaded to picasa.
