 Arthur Foulds (1901-1957)Records of the Foulds Family show that they have lived in the Nottingham area since at least 1800 - originally living in Arnold, in the North of the city, before members of the family moved to The Meadows area in the centre of Nottingham. The direct ancestry has been traced back to Thomas Foulds who lived in Arnold with his wife Mary Ann Knott from the early 1800s until his death in 1877.
