Why You Should Join Our Club

Membership is open to all current and past students and staff of the university.  Everyone is welcome to join, from people who have never dived before but fancy a go, to experienced divers.  The club is affiliated to the Scottish Sub-Aqua Club (ScotSAC) and all our training is carried out in accordance with them.  Divers from other organisations such as PADI or BSAC are welcomed and crossover training is available.

The club offers a wide range of diving.  To start with you will do mostly shore dives from sites that are ideal for training.  Once you are qualified you will be able to go on many dives to very interesting sites such as walls covered in huge amounts of sea-life and shipwrecks.  The west coast of Scotland has a lot of diving to offer, but we plan dive trips to warm places as well.
