Chestnut Osteopathic Practice comprises a small, expert team of healthcare professionals. All our practitioners are registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). As the GOsC's registration mark says, you can feel confident that you're safe in our hands.
Rukmani Day MA Hons (Cantab) BSc Hons (Ost) Registered OsteopathRukmani qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in London in 1998 following a four year Honours degree. Her previous experience includes Marketing and an Engineering degree at Cambridge University. On qualification she worked in Blackberry Orthopaedic Clinic in Milton Keynes one of the largest multidisciplinary orthopaedic clinics in England, and then moved to Oxfordshire and established her own Practice.
Elizabeth Cooke BA Hons (Oxon) BSc Hons (Ost) Registered Osteopath
Elizabeth qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in London in 1998 following a four year Honours degree. Her previous experience includes a degree in Human Sciences at Oxford University and teaching. Since qualifying she has worked in a busy Practice in Nottingham, and has completed a 2 year diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy and further training in Cranio-sacral technique.
Elizabeth Simmons BSc (Hons) Ost Med Registered Osteopath
Liz qualified from the BritishCollege of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003, which included the study of Naturopathy and Cranial osteopathy. As a result she incorporates structural, cranial and naturopathy in her treatment approach. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council, and also works in Stratford and has her own Practice in Warwickshire. Liz is also a keen mountain biker and runner.
