Konvensi BoardGame & Card Game* (Permainan Papan & Kartu) pertama di Indonesia

 

Konvensi ini diberi nama “Congklak Game Con.” untuk menghormati salah satu papan permainan tertua di Indonesia walau asal usulnya bukan dari Indonesia namun ketenarannya sudah dikenal berbagai lapisan masyarakat, tua dan muda, acara ini akan diadakan tgl 12-13 Des 09.

 

Konvensi akan berlangsung selama 33 Jam non stop bekerja sama dengan Mal STC di Hall Ground Floor. Acara dimulai Pk 10:00 Tgl 12 Desember 2009 diakhiri pada Pk 19:00 Tgl 13 Desember 2009.

 

Konvensi ini mengusung 3 tema :

-          Boardgame Marathon : Peserta ditantang untuk bermain selama 33 jam

-          Boardgame Estafet : Dalam 33 jam permainan dalam arena acara tidak pernah berhenti (bergilir), peserta berkomitmen untuk diberikan pengaturan dalam beristirahat.

-          Boardgame Feast : Acara permainan Board & card game dengan peserta terbesar di Indonesia dalam satu waktu.

 

Konvensi ini diadakan untuk mempopulerkan permainan papan dan kartu secara lebih meluas kepada masyarakat.

Konvensi ini pada dasarnya bebas biaya, namun bagi yang mau berpartisipasi serius untuk mewujudkan Boardgame Marathon/Estafet maka panitia menyediakan konsumsi (4x & air minum), ruang istirahat (dilengkapi dengan matras) dan Doorprize senilai 4 jt lebih (terbagi atas lebih dari 10 produk) , sebagai gantinya peserta tersebut membayar Tiket senilai Rp. 90.000,-

 

Tempat istirahat disediakan oleh panitia bagi yang tidak ingin bermain terus-menerus selama 33 jam, dan peserta tersebut tidak kehilangan haknya untuk mengikuti undian.

 

Apabila peserta yang telah membayar meninggalkan arena/gedung (arena makan, istirahat, toilet dianggap masih di arena permainan) maka peserta tersebut kehilangan kesempatan untuk ikut pengundian doorprize walaupun peserta itu kemudian kembali ke arena/gedung.

 

Tempat istirahat disediakan oleh panitia bagi yang tidak ingin bermain terus-menerus selama 33 jam, dan peserta tidak kehilangan haknya untuk mengikuti undian.

 

Panitia akan menyediakan banyak pilihan Board & Card Game, dan Peserta dipersilakan untuk membawa Board & Card Game Pribadi ke arena. Peserta dilarang melakukan perjudian dalam bentuk apapun di arena.

Fantasy Flight Games has announced a new design from Corey Konieczka (Middle-earth Quest, Battlestar Galactica, StarCraft: The Board Game), “a new game of quests, battles, and empire-building” called Runewars. The game is set in the world of Terrinoth – the same setting used in Descent and Runebound – and Runewars will be in FFG’s Epic-sized box with almost 200 plastic miniatures, 3D mountains and other terrain, and hundreds of cards and tokens. FFG’s CEO Christian Petersen gives a brief history of Runewars on the Fantasy Flight website. Runewars, which is for 2-4 players, will retail for $100 and is scheduled for a Q4 2009/Q1 2010 release.
