Beneficiaries of the STP Campaign for Typhoon Ondoy in 2009: The STP Relief Fund Drive Campaign in 2009 prioritized people-to-people and direct support to the hardest hit communities. AKAP is a federally recognized non-profit organization based in Metro Manila, Philippines, comprised of doctors and other medical health professionals, offering medical health services, and relief to the poorest of the Filipino population. Due to typhoon Ondoy, around 8,200 families that Kalinga Obrero serves in the CAMANAVA area are in desperate need of assistance since their houses have been destroyed by the typhoon and flood.
