Bellringing

There is a peal of six bells in regular use.

The Church is very lucky in that we also have both a set of hand bells and a new set of bell plates. Whilst we will use the original bells from time to time, the bell plates are easier and lighter to play. We have a group of ringers who usually meet fortnightly on Monday evenings to practice for various events during the year, such as playing carols at the Residential Homes in the village at Christmastime.

We are always delighted to welcome anyone who would like to join us. No musical knowledge is required, just the ability to count!

If you would like to join the team or learn to ring, turn up at 9:15am on a Sunday morning or contact the tower captain, Giles Morley  (Tel: 01823 430710)
