When the "GROUND CLOSED" signs are displayed - it is ILLEGAL to train on the oval or surrounds. On the weekend, the SSJSFA can over-rule the sign and allow games to be played. If you wish to find out the status of the grounds without going to them, call the council wet weather number 9710 0105

Sutherland Shire Council Wet Weather Line : 9710 - 0105
During wet weather if Sutherland Shire Council closes the grounds, no training is permitted.
Council officers may fine offending Clubs up to $2,000 if any team is training on a ground when it is closed.
Sutherland Shire Council operates a wet weather line recorded message for information on ground closures.
From Monday to Friday inclusive, all grounds are under direct control of the Council.
On weekends, grounds come under the control of the SSJSFA who, after inspections where necessary, will decide if individual grounds are playable.
