We’re using the Social Norms Theory in our WE ARE U-KNIGHTED campaign to fix the misperception of alcohol,tobacco, and other drug use among students. Most Stoughton students believe that the majority of their peers are using substances. However, using data we’ve collected through school-wide surveys, we know that MOST STOUGHTON STUDENTS ARE NOT USING SUBSTANCES. Through the use of our posters, promotional items, and information to local liquor stores and pharmacies, we’re hoping to decrease the perception of use, and decrease the actual use.
