The People Behind "Stories Without Borders"

Andrea Frazier has been in television for the past five years, although you would not have seen her--she's been the woman behind the curtain, so to speak.  She produces and directs original programming for FCA-TV and also teaches program production to resident students,
helping others learn basic shooting techniques, editing tips, interview methods, and more.  "Stories Without Borders" will be Andrea's first major independent film project.  She will be responsible for almost all of the filming and will oversee editing with her years of experience with Final Cut Pro and iLife as well as numerous other editing software.

Andrea wanted to create "Stories Without Borders" not only as a way to share these stories and cultures with others, but also as a way of exploring different ways of being a person.  Since traveling in France, Andrea has had not just a drive to go out and see the world but also to share it with others who might not be so fortunate to be able to see it "for themselves."  Through the medium of film, however, Andrea is able to share her own and others' experiences with a broader audience.  Traveling and engaging different cultures, recording people's stories and empowering them by giving them a voice and showing appreciation for their culture and individuality as well, Andrea hopes to learn a lot about herself in the process and hopes that the documentary will also parallel that same transformative experience for the viewer: ultimately, a realization of our common humanity, recognized through exploring the stories that make up our cultures and world views.
