Whaler do you know if there is open pit boundary conditions with respect to being able to mine the ore from these drill results?
Happy Trails,

Not off hand, but I await the report/s from the experts at Micon and ISM, who very likely have this answered.
I do recall a discussion along these same lines just 2 weeks ago

Re: Connecting the dots "Open Pit Potential" From Filings
posted on Agoracom Whaler on  Jan 09, 09 12:18PM
From the filings (Pg. 8 of the Dec 29 AIF) just released, Note that in the filings some references to drilling are made for June 2007 and back as far as Dec 2006. So to use the term "end of summer" in the quote, keep this in mind.
The diamond drilling at the Langmuir No.2 Mine – North Zone has indicated a long and broad nickel bearing mineralization zone containing 3 possible distinct komatiitic extrusive flows in a paleo-topographic depression with the higher-grade mineralization generally located in the basal flow but also located in the middle and upper flows.
The majority of the drilling was concentrated to a depth of 100m below surface on approximately 25m centers.
The deepest intersection was at a vertical depth of 230 m below surface with the pierce point of the zone at a depth of 150m.
Due to the continuation of the mineralization at depth and the potential for continued mineralization extending to the northeast of the identified mineralization, the Company plans to initiate a deep drilling program at the Langmuir No. 2 – North Zone by the end of the summer and continue exploration drilling along the northeast extension.
With the current land position and boundaries, the mineralization identified in the North Zone could be accessed by open pit to a depth of 200m with deeper mineralization accessed via ramp.

and the impending Ni43-101 which hints as being complete (based on Whaler's post above), or information substantiating ISM's claim of open pit to a depth of 200m, is very likely due no later than February 12, 2009 (45 days after the Dec 29th AIF)

Part IV Maintaining a Listing — General Requirements
Sec. 401.
Once approval has been given for its securities to be listed, in order to maintain the listing privilege a company must fulfill a number of requirements on a continuing basis. These requirements are described in this and subsequent Parts.
Sec. 406.
In addition to the foregoing requirements, companies whose securities are listed on the Exchange and who engage in mineral exploration, development and/or production, must follow the "Disclosure Standards for Companies Engaged in Mineral Exploration, Development and Production" as outlined in Appendix B of this Manual for both their timely and continuous disclosure.
Appendix B Disclosure Standards for Companies Engaged in Mineral Exploration, Development & Production
1.0 Introduction
The disclosure of the results of exploration and development activity on mineral properties must comply with the requirements of the Toronto Stock Exchange Policy Statement on Timely Disclosure, the Ontario Securities Act and all applicable policies and rules of the Ontario Securities Commission and any other securities regulatory body having jurisdiction over an issuer listed on the Exchange. In particular, the requirements of National Instrument 43-101 must be followed.
4.2 Obligation to File a Technical Report in Connection with Certain Written Disclosure About Mineral Projects on Material Properties
(1) An issuer must file a technical report to support scientific or technical information in any of the following documents filed or made available to the public in a jurisdiction of Canada describing a mineral project on a property material to the issuer, or in the case of paragraph (c) below, the resulting issuer:
f) an annual information form that includes material scientific or technical information about a mineral project on a property material to the issuer
(4) Subject to subsections (5), (6), and (7), the technical report referred to in subsection (1) must be filed not later than the time the document listed in subsection (1) that it supports is filed or made available to the public.
(5) Despite subsection (4), a technical report about mineral resources or mineral reserves that supports a news release must
(a) be filed not later than 45 days after the news release; and
(b) if there are any material differences in the mineral resources or mineral reserves between the technical report filed and the news release, be accompanied by a news release that reconciles those differences.
(6) Despite subsection (4), if a property referred to in an annual information form first becomes material to the issuer less than 30 days before the filing deadline for the annual information form, the issuer must file the technical report within 45 days of the date that the property first became material to the issuer.
(7) Despite subsection (4), a technical report that supports a directors' circular must be filed not less than 3 business days prior to the expiry of the take-over bid.
Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects

our curiousity became the best of us compelling a quick plot of the new drill holes.

Unlike the previous hole results (124 to 126), the location of these look good - at least appearing to fill in a void to help further refine the ore body.  However, looking South in a cross-section of the property boundary, the majority of intersect grade from these holes appears to be on the wrong side of the contested, yet to be confirmed, open pit wall limitation constrained by property boundaries.

As with everyone else, we are anxiously awaiting the Langmuir North 43-101 to clarify this open pit wall constraint and finally get a quantitative opinion from experts.

... and to confirm if these latest results have further increased the property value of the neighbour.
