This site provides a free excel spreadsheet to download historical data from yahoo finance. Most of the major stock exchanges of the world are accounted for. You can use the symbols we've obtained for each stock exchange, or provide your own.

The data is in metastock format. Over 10 years of data in unadjusted or adjusted for dividends and stock splits. Data is for EOD (end of day), end of week, or end of month.
