Sunday's Sermon

The text and message sets the focus for our Sunday worship gathering. The message talks about the text from the Bible, what it meant to the hearers then, and how we can apply it our lives today.
 


God through his word wants us to grow in our trust on him, and in the ways we share his love with others. The text and message theme changes each week, sometimes standing alone, and others are a part of a series. Other parts of our worship gatherings, such as music and prayers support the daily theme.

St Mike's offers a  nursery for young children during the morning service.
It is a place parents can take their children and be with them, or we have volunteers to allow parents time to worship while the children are cared for.  Check it out some Sunday morning.  The nursery is located down the hallway just past the Fellowship Hall.
The 10:00 am worship is a traditional worship service at St. Mike's.  At this gathering the organ accompanies the singingof hymns and the liturgy. We have separate printed orders of worship which relate to the season of the church year, and to make it easy for all participants to follow along.
Holy communion is offered each Sunday.
