Meetings: Every second Sunday of the month after mass in the "Cry Room" of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Ravenswood, WV. Our main mission is the bereavement dinner for deceased members of our parish. We also try to provide food for parishioners in need due to illness, or other needs that arise. If you or your beloved one are a member of our parish and need help, please contact a member of St. Matthew's Ladies Guild. Although we do not collect dues, we have had fundraisers such as bake sales, auctions, bazaars, hot dog sales, etc. which have given us funds to help in other areas of our church. The Guild also has purchased tables, chairs, altar cloths, chalices, kitchen items, and some needed items for other church activities. We welcome every woman in St. Matthew’s Parish to join our group no matter the age. We have been pleased that some of our teen girls helped us along the way. Some ladies cannot attend our meetings, but are ready to help behind the scene, no matter what we ask of them. We also warm-up at 10 a.m. on Sundays, to get in tune for the 10:30 Mass. We welcome singers and instrumentalists of all ages to join us. Our goal is not to perform, but to assist and strengthen the assembly as they sing at Mass. Anyone interested in joining us can contact Janet Bowlby or any choir member.
