I want to teach, empower, and encourage my students to work to their full potential spiritually, academically, and mentally. I would like my students to realize that it is okay to make mistakes in life. It is in making these mistakes that they learn life’s greatest lessons. I want my students to be confident, polite, and self-reliant.

Welcome to 7th Grade Religion! 

 
 
 Our main focus this year is the New Testament

This class will be a study of the New Testament with an emphasis on the life of Jesus Christ and the foundation for the Catholic Church. There are many exciting topics that we will cover this year including . . .

  • proofs from reason for the existence of God
  • the life of Jesus Christ, Son of God
  • His foundation for the Church
  • Saints of the New Testament

The Holy Bible will be our main text, supplemented by outside readings from time to time.  We will use the Scriptures to pray and to grow deeper in understanding God, ourselves and each other.
