St. Mark Young Adult Ministry

ST. MARK Young Adult Ministry is geared toward young adults in their 20s and 30s, single and married.

Our primary goal is to foster community as we share our faith, develop friendships,

and move forward together toward God.

Young Adults

Mass and Dinner

Join us for our monthly Mass and Dinner. We’ll meet for the 5:30 pm Vigil Mass at St. Mark and then go for dinner at a local restaurant at 6:45 pm. Cost for dinner is $15 (checks made out to St. Mark). To join us, send an email to apometto@stmark.org. See the calendar above for dates.

Faith-Sharing Group

Please join us for our Young Adult Faith-Sharing group. A typical meeting will include reading Scripture for the upcoming Sunday's readings, discussing the Scripture, and talking about what it means to us today. It's a chance to share about your life and what God is doing with other Young Adults who can support and encourage you.

The Young Adult Faith-Sharing Group meets on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, at 7 pm. Location does vary, so please RSVP to Angie, if interested in attending.

* The group does not meet June-August.

Outside St. Mark

Holy Hour and Social Nights

Join Young Adults from around the diocese for Holy Hour and Social Nights. These quarterly events begin with Eucharistic adoration, confession, and evening prayer at 7:30 pm. At 8:30 pm, the coffee house begins with fellowship, snacks, and group activities. The evening ends with Night Prayer at 10:30 pm. There is a suggested donation of $5. Theology on Tap

Theology on Tap is a speaker series that takes place in the fun, relaxed setting of your favorite local pub. "ToT" focuses on topics of faith and contemporary issues that directly affect the lives of young adults (ages 21-39). ToT originated in the Archdiocese of Chicago and has spread throughout the country as a vital and popular component of young adult ministry. The goal is to provide a forum for young adults to learn about and discuss their faith in a relaxing social setting.

CATHOLIC SPORTS CLUB

Because, we believe that holiness comes from building up mind, body and soul, we have added a sports program to our lineup of healthy, holy events. Our program includes leagues, and open gyms, and offers young adults a place where they can go to share their passion for sports in an environment that respects Christian precepts and gives Glory to God. Our events are open to all young adults, married or single, Catholic or otherwise. We hope to see you on the court & field!
