All Sunday services are held in our Church building at the corner of Lawrence and Oliver Streets, Freshwater. To learn more about what’s on midweek see Other Activities
The focus of all our services is good clear teaching from the Bible. We do this in several different ways.
8am Holy Communion
Based on the traditional Anglican prayer book, we share communion almost every week and enjoy accompanying organ music and hymns.
9.45 Family Service
As our largest and most diverse gathering, we combine some of the traditional elements of church with live music and singing. Children join in the beginning of the service and then get to know Jesus through an organised teaching program in the downstairs hall. We call that 'Kids Church'. A crèche is available for children age 0-3 years. We then gather for morning tea and coffee around 11am.
6pm Evening Service
This evening service attracts late teens and young adults (as well as people in their 30s-40s) and is the most informal of the three meetings. Music is contemporary and the format relaxed. Tea and coffee are served afterwards and occasionally, dinner.
