Growth Groups
In various homes around Freshwater, Curl Curl, North Manly and Allambie Heights we run small mid week groups as a more informal way to learn and to care for each other. Ask us about the different groups and meeting times to help you find the most suitable group for you. Enquiries Terry Bowers 9907 1138.
 

 

Friendship Club – 10:30am Thursdays

For Seniors who enjoy an old fashioned sing-a-long, morning tea and watching a video together. Meet in the Church Hall. Non-church members welcome. Enquiries Maureen Sterland 9905 3531.
 

 

Friday Night Lights - Youth Group

About 50 youth regularly attend Ignite (school years 6-8)  or Radiate (school years 9-12) on Fridays.  Most weeks they meet at the church.   Contact: Colin Lim 0416 199 961 or visit freshielights.com.
 
 
Biblegroups
Biblegroups are small informal groups for people who would like to learn to read the Bible for themselves.
Groups currently run during school term on
Monday Nights 8.00-9.30pm
Sunday Afternoons 4.00pm-5.30pm*
2nd Friday of Month 9.30-11am*

MONTHLY & QUARTERLY

 

St Marks Seniors – 11:30am Third Friday

Meet in the Church Hall for an informal time including a few hymns, a Bible reading, a fun trivia game and some lunch together. An after lunch guest speaker stimulates, informs or entertains us. Twice yearly we also enjoy an all day bus trip to an interesting location. Contact: Muriel and Lloyd Henderson 0428 390 765.

 

Nursing Home Service – 2pm First Friday & Third Tuesday

At Austral House in North Manly.

 

Prayer Day – 9:30am  Last Wednesday

People from all congregations join together for an hour of prayer.


Church Breakfast - 8am First Saturday

We enjoy breakfast and, in the last 20 minutes pray for the world, mission and special needs before leaving at 9.15am.  A great way to start the weekend.


Women’s Breakfasts

Occasional Saturday morning meetings covering various topics, to help connect and support women from the congregations and local community.

 

KASM – Pupil Free Days

Kids at St Marks is a fun filled day for primary school children, run most pupil free days. Children enjoy Bible teaching, games, drama, singing, jokes, craft and cooking. Usually 9am-4pm.  Enquiries: Terry Bowers 9907 1138.
