As the parish faith community of St. Jude the Apostle, we envision our mission as that of forming a large Christian family where all parishioners and non-parishioners alike are welcome and where all members have the opportunity to become actively involved regardless of their age or their racial, national or religious backgrounds.
After the model of Jesus, we wish to know, care for, and share with all people the Gospel and its values, in both good times and bad.
In realizing specific needs of the parish family we wish to maintain an enthusiasm and a willingness of members to come forth and utilize their individual talents to help those in need, thereby bettering and strengthening the family. As in a family, the will of all members shall be considered in decision making with the counseling and leadership of the pastor. This will contribute to developing a sense of belonging and will encourage others to belong and participate, thus stimulating parish growth and maturity. With this security of family-belonging the members will reach out to all and fulfill the continuance of Christ’s mission on earth.
