Friday
4:00 p.m.: Narrated church tour; hospitality room and historical display open in Parish Center.
7:30 p.m.: Alumni concert in the church, featuring professional musicians who grew up in St. Joseph parish – Julia Bordenaro
Levin, now a singer touring from her home in San Francisco; David Kowaleski, music director, Our Lady of Las Vegas
Catholic Church; and Julie Harris, music instructor, St. Croix Preparatory Academy, Stillwater, MN.
Saturday
9:00 a.m.: Hospitality room opens in the Parish Center.
9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.: Historical display room open in Parish Center
10 a.m.-11:30 a.m.: Alumni panel discussion in Parish Center, moderated by Rev. Bill Brunner, with the panelists including
alumni Mary Rae Bragg, of Dubuque; John Burke, of Ames; Judge Timothy Finn, Ames; Julie Harris, of
Stillwater, MN; Jim Hunt, of Park City, Utah; Phil Phillips-Schrock, of Urbandale, and current parish
member Jayne Tiffany. For biographies on these individuals see "Panel Biographies" button on left.
4:30 p.m.: Mass, in the church, celebrated by Bishop R. Walker Nickless.
5:30 p.m.: Social time, historical display room re-opens in Parish Center. Gathering music by Hank and Felicia Davis.
6:00 p.m.: Banquet and brief program, Parish Center. Master of ceremonies Dick Davis, introduction of special guests, welcome
remarks and reflections by Rev. Don Ries, invited feature speaker Msgr. Kevin McCoy.
7:30 p.m.: Social time in Parish Center with music by Hank and Felicia Davis.
7:30 p.m.: Narrated church tour.
Sunday
10 a.m.: Mass, in the church, celebrated by Rev. Don Ries. Also, hospitality room and historical display room open in the Parish
Center, through the rest of the day’s program.
11 a.m.: Brunch, Parish Center. Master of ceremonies Dick Davis. Announcement of winner of the “Count the Crosses” contest,
by Nathan Steussy, Megan Kingery & Jake Kingery and awarding of $100 check to the winner. Special music
presentation by the family of Monica and Dennis McGregor.
12:30 p.m.- 2 p.m.: Young Catholics panel discussion in church, moderated by Chuck Offenburger, with the panelists including
Erin Morain, of Jefferson; Megan Kingery, of Jefferson, with invitations to four others awaiting confirmation.
2:00 p.m.: Narrated church tour.
4:00 p.m.: Celebration concludes, hospitality and historical display rooms close.
