Father Bill Brunner:  Father Bill lives in Jefferson.  He is the son of Mike and Elizabeth Brunner.  He graduated in 1953 from Jefferson High School and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy at St. Columban’s Seminary, Milton, Massachusetts and a Masters Degree in Pastoral Theology from the University of California, Berkeley, Berkeley, California.  Father is a semi-retired Columban Priest.  Prior to his retirement Father Bill served as a pastor in the Philippine Islands, Alaska, New Mexico, Arizona, California and Iowa.  Father is a Certified Instructor for the Southeast Asian Pastoral Institute of the Philippines and is a Certified Counselor for Addiction from Hazelton Foundation, Center City, Minnesota.
 
 
Panel Members:
 
Mary Rae (Davis) Bragg:  Mary lives in Dubuque, Iowa and is the daughter of Raymond and Rose Mary Davis.  She is a 1960 graduate of Jefferson High School and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa.  Mary has recently retired from being a political reporter for the Telegraph Herald in Dubuque, Iowa.  Mary has three sons, one step-daughter and seven grandchildren.  She is active in her church and is on the Liturgy Committee at the Cathedral of St. Raphael in Dubuque, is a mentor at the Dubuque Community Schools and a volunteer at the Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens.  
 
John Burke:  John lives in Ames, Iowa and is the son of Dr. Robert and Rosemary Burke.  He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1980, from the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy, Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in English and a Masters Degree in Counseling from Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska.  John is a high school counselor for the Ames Community Schools.  He is married to Maureen Burke and they have three boys; Rob (17), Matthew (15) and Michael (11).
 
District Cout Judge, Timothy Finn:  Tim Lives in Ames, Iowa and is the son of Mick and Helen Finn.  He is a 1967 graduate of Jefferson High School.  Judge Finn went to the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Political Science.  Tim then attended Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa where he received his law degree.  He practiced law in Ames, Iowa and was also a clerk for Justice David Harris of the Iowa Supreme Court.  Tim was appointed to the bench in District 2 in 1987.  He is married to Marilyn and has two children, Katie and Patrick.  Katie tragically passed away three years ago. 
 
Julie Harris:  Julie lives in Stillwater, Minnesota and is the daughter of Judge David and Madonna Harris.  She is a 1974 graduate of Jefferson High School, received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from the St. Catherine University, St. Paul Minnesota and a Masters Degree in Theology and Religious Education from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota.  Julie also attended the University of Nebraska Omaha, Omaha, Nebraska studying theater.  She is currently teaching at the St. Croix Preparatory Academy, a charter school located in Stillwater, Minnesota.  Very little free time is spent with family and involvement in theater.
 
Jim Hunt:  Jim lives in Park City, Utah and is the son of Clarence and Marie (Vogel) Hunt.  He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1953.  Jim graduated from Iowa State University in 1957 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Science.  He has lived in various parts of the United States working in industrial sales for Reliance Electric and Engineering, Cleveland, Ohio.  Jim retired from his position in 1997.  Jim was married to Carla Hunt who passed away in 2001.  He has three sons and four grandchildren.  Jim recently taught 4th grade CCD classes, but is taking this year off to pursue travels and visit family members.
 
Phil Phillips - Schrock:  Phil lives in Urbandale, Iowa and is the son of Vincent and Agnes Phillips.  He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1969.  Additional education includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and French from Ceo College, Cedar Rapids, IA and a Masters Degree in History from Drake University, Des Moines, IA.  Phil also attended the University of Orleans, and The Sorbonne University, both in Paris, France studying languages and architectural history.  He has retired from teaching History, French, English and Religion at the Adel DeSoto Minburn Community Schools (ADM) after 20 years of teaching.  Phil is now a tutor at Des Moines Area Community College assisting non-traditional students.  Phil is married to Dr. Dennis Schrock who is an editor for the Garden Book published by Better Homes and Gardens, Meredith Publishing Company.  Phil has been active in Des Moines area drama productions and is currently publishing a book about the architectural history of the White House.
 
Jayne Tiffany:  Jayne is a local resident and the daughter of Bill and Phyllis Rosenberger of Churdan.  She graduated from Paton-Churdan High School in 1974.  Jayne is married to Jon Tiffany and is a GIS Technician at the Greene County Assessors Office.  Community involvements include being a board member of the Greene County Arts Council, a volunteer for the Angel Food Ministries and active participation with Meals of Wheels.  She formerly served on the boards for PAWS and the Greene County Domestic Abuse Council.
