Fishing has been excellent on the St. Joseph River!  We were 11 for 17 today (12/28) on Steelhead.  River conditions are good with water clear and the water has gone down from the high water conditions we did have.  Plugs have been working well.  Flat fish and hot n tots in gold colors seemed to be working best as well as spawn.  January could be a good month to take advantage of fishing the river with the milder weather conditions we have had.  Walleye fishing can also be good in January along with Steelhead.
