St. John the Evangelist CYO program is part of the San Antonio Archdiocese CYO athletic program. We are located just a few miles north of downtown San Antonio and offer youth sports to boys and girls ages 4 to 10 years of age.

Our CYO program is designed to be representative of the Christian values of respect, love, compassion and support for each other. It is our goal to provide a safe and positive athletic experience for the youth of our community through athletic participation, regardless of skill or ability. Through our program, it is hoped that every child athlete will develop a sense of teamwork, pride of accomplishment and respect for one another.

CYO Athletics is not just about how many games you win...

It is about positive coaching, good sportsmanship, developing athletic skills, and nurturing the physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual strength in each of us.

CYO Sports provide only one aspect of the St. John the Evangelist parish life. All athletes and their families are encouraged to attend Mass regularly and actively participate in other aspects of the St. John Family experience.
