ACT & SAT Fee Waiver Information

FEE WAIVERS FOR ACT OR SAT TESTING

The Fee Waiver Programs for the ACT and SAT testing are designed to assist students for whom payment of the basic registration fees could be a barrier to college entrance. Guidelines for fee waivers are stringent, but may apply to some of our students. Below are the basic guidelines for eligibility for the waivers. Please contact Mrs. Artman in the Counselor's Office if you would like to apply for one. The criteria under which one qualifies must be verified.

  • Student must be a junior or senior in high school

  • Family receives public assistance

  • Student is a ward of the state

  • Student resides in a foster home

  • Student is homeless

  • Student participates in a federally funded TRIO Program such as Upward Bound

  • Student's family income is at or below the following maximum amounts established by the Bureau of Labor Statistics Low Standard Budget for 2009:

    Family Total Income Before Tax
    Family of 1 $12,100
    Family of 2 $19,800
    Family of 3 $27,200
    Family of 4 $33,600
    Family of 5 $39,600
    Family of 6 $46,300
    Family of 6 and over $46,300 + $3,600
