  • World Cup Challenge - The winners have been announced:
    Jim Holmes 98 points  Argentina               - Winner due to Argentina going further (£125)

    Matt O’Rourke 98 points North Korea           - 2nd place                                       (£50)
    Douglas Connelly                                     3rd place 91 points.                          (£25)

    Ella Shilladay sold the most sheets and will be presented with a special price at the beginning of next season. Well done Ella a superb effort.

    We are still calculating the actual money raised by the club and with the treasurer currently on holiday we will have to wait before we can announce it. 

    Thank you to everybody for their effort in selling sheets. A big thank you to those volunteers who scored the sheets, it was a big job, but hopefully also fun!

    Finally We have been informed that the two top winners Jim and Matt both colleagues of David Rogerson have decided to donate their winnings back to the club, both Jim and Matt works for Incyte Consulting who already are a consistent sponsor of the club. Thank you very much.

    We hope you all enjoyed the competition.

Coaches' Announcements

  • Scottish Nationals Success It was an excellent week of swimming at the Scottish National Championships and congratulations must go to all the swimmers who represented Stirling.  It was a great meet for Stirling Swimming with many superb individual and team efforts.  Highlights include finishing 2ND OVERALL in the TOP CLUB points; Martin Cremin becoming Scottish National Champion in the 1500m freestyle, the mens 4x200 freestyle relay of Martin Cremin, Steven Binnie, Sam Long and Andrew Loudon winning the bronze medal, and Jim Anderson winning Gold and Silver in the muti disability events.   We also need to congratulate the Stirling ITC swimmers who have achieved selection times for the Scottish Commonwealth Games in Delhi later this year - Lucy Ellis, Andrew Hunter, Jak Scott and ...
