We are now in the season of Lent (colour purple), which is a time of reflection, penitence, abstinence, prayer, and fasting for Christians. We lead simpler lives for these 40 days, as we seek to re-connect with God, and to restore our relationship with him through confession of past sins. Our worship is simpler during this season, as we prepare for the coming celebrations of Easter.
