Welcome to the website of St. Francis of Assisi Parish!  Our three Catholic churches in Frankford, Stirling and Batawa are happy to facilitate your coming together for the Eucharist on Saturday night or Sunday morning, or from Tuesday to Friday for a weekday Mass.

Our parish has one message for you: "We need you and we welcome you in the name of Jesus."  We are by no means at the end of the journey, and we are convinced that God has given you unique talents to share with our parish community.  A good number of us have been in this area for a long time, may even have been born within the parish, but it is also true that an increasing number of newcomers (possibly as many as 50%) are coming to our parish to stay or for a time only.  We want to say to you that as soon as you come, and for as long as you are here, there is time to stop for prayer, there is work to do, and there is time to rest, and to have fellowship.  We will need your patience as we adapt to the many changes that this new millenium is bringing about, but have courage, since Christ has conquered the world by his Cross and Resurrection!
