JOB DESCRIPTION
- Maintains an up to date data base of all contacts and supporters
- Develops promotional materials (eg. brochure, posters, tarpaulin, articles, letters, website, etc) using all art/media forms (must FULLY understand 180 Degrees identity, vision, mission)
- Represents and promotes 180 Degrees at conferences, meetings, through booths, interviews, presentations, etc
- Assists in one Fund Raising Project each year. (in partnership with the director, parents, and board)
- Supporter Relations: responsible for picking up monthly financial support, face to face time, letters, texts, etc. Gets prayer requests monthly and shares with staff during staff mtg
- Attends weekly staff meeting
- May attend board, parents, pastors meetings when required for marketing/fund raising
- Prepare supporter/marketing written reports, graphs, charts to record accomplishments and data summaries as requested by the director.
- Will work closely with the Director to set up appointments, recommend prospective donors, etc.
OTHER
- Valid unexpired driver’s license with driving experience a plus or can commute with complete ease and confidence
- Part time, 3 days a week (Tues, plus two other days in coordination with staff)
- Paid on a per day basis to start, with required government benefits
- Transpo and cell phone allowance will be given in addition
- Responsible and accountable to the Director.
- Will be trained and oriented to 180 Degrees during which a few Sunday afternoons will be required to attend rehearsals and observe the ministry in action.
Note: this person will be part of a two-man marketing team, dividing the work according to gifting, experience, and training. Since we have a young person in marketing, we are looking for an older experienced marketer who can reach the more mature businessmen, leaders, etc. Also one who can lead the marketing/funding team forward.
