Jeremy Alan Bragg, SJCCF Founding AngelStevie JoEllie's Cancer Care Fund Capital Donor & Volunteer
Our youngest supporting member, Mr. Bragg is a traumatic brain injury survivor and Stevie JoEllie's younger brother.
He is the greatest personal supporter and financial supporter of our mission initiatives and his sisters emotional journey to recovery and wellness up until now.
As a person with first hand knowledge of major traumatic medical events and long term emotional sequale, he brings a world of compassionate and unique perspective to our efforts and has generously donated our start up funds from his own personal savings. He is a 2006 Clifton High School graduate and a "star" Lakeview Academy alumni. He is also a gifted young survivor who hopes to continue his educational development in the field of media production and develop his martial arts training to an expert level.
Wilma Ariza, SJCCF Development DirectorThe Happy Angels Project Founder & President
Ms. Ariza holds a BA in Business Administration Management and completed her Associate Degree in Marketing as a young entrepenuer and owner operator of "My Home Office Inc.,"(C) a personal assistant and administrative services provider specializing in the administrative management of freelancing professionals in various fields. Her professional experience includes start up business office management and administration for Community Health Care Centers of NJ, The Chatteau At Rochelle Park and Raceway Components Inc., she served as Operations Manager and Claims Processing Auditor for Pro Services Inc, a personal injury and bodily harm claims management firm. Most recently she has earned a Certified Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist designation and provides free Privacy Rights and Compliance Consulting Services to small business start-ups accross NJ. She serves as Community Ambassador for the Medic Alert Foundation in the Passaic and Essex County area and has trained to serve as a peer-to-peer grief counselor and cancer support group moderator with personal survivorship experience. She is a member in good standing of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) and The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC)
Dr. Michael Magwood, Wellness Programs DirectorThe Happy Angels Project Inc.,
Dr. Michael Magwood helps create wellness with the power of a chiropractic adjustment. He is the owner of the Chiropractic Wellness Center of Clifton and has been in family practice in New Jersey since 2001. He specializes in holistic health care for pregnant moms and their kids and uses technology certified by the Space Foundation to evaluate each patient's state of healing.
For years Dr. Magwood has been a volunteer for the Clifton Board of Education, the Health Department and the Recreation Department. He makes routine public appearances, teaching about wellness lifestyles, natural childbirth and pediatric care. He is certified in the Webster Technique, a specialized chiropractic assessment and adjustment to help unborn babies position themselves for the easiest, safest delivery. He is currently participating in a Practiced Based Research Network (PBRN), by contributing clinical patient data in the area of pregnancy care. He recently completed certificate courses in Vibrational Healing, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT-ADV) and Advanced Clinical Nutrition. He is currently earning a Diplomate from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).
He leads Exercise Ball Classes, teaches Relaxation Breathing Techniques, and provides numerous other wellness programs for moms, kids and developing athletes. His writing appears monthly in the Clifton Journal, and has been printed in Expectant Mother's Guide, ParentGuide and other periodicals. His articles are regularly distributed by hospitals, medical doctors, midwives, and other allied health professionals.
His Chiropractic Wellness Center also provides services in Nutrition, Massage Therapy and Acupuncture (www.drmagwood.com). In addition to his private practice he teaches Professional Standards at a Massage Therapy school and is credentialed with the medical staff at the Clifton Surgery Center. Michael Quarles, Drum Circle Program Coordinator The Happy Angels Project Inc.,
Mr. Quarles is an experienced and talented percussionist with professional credits dating back to the early 1980's. He is a "working" freelance musician and band member with some of the best entertainment and special events service providers in the tri-state area such as: Soul Street Solutions and Total Entertainment Inc., Ken Gross Orchestras, Hank Lane Orchestra, Steven Scott Orchestra, The White Howard Orchestra and Re ggie Woods Jazz Trios. A distinguised participant of the Berkeley Intercultural Summer Institute in Boston MA. He is an alumni of Boys Harbor School of Performing Arts in NY and the Chet Doboe Drum School of Uniondale, NY. He is a member in good standing of Local 802 A.F. of M. AFL-CIO.
