Cardiac Specialists is a full service cardiology practice with offices throughout southern Connecticut offering all available modalities of advanced cardiology treatments. Our services include consultations, echocardiography, nuclear stress testing, cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiology studies, ablation, pacemakers, and defibrillators. Dr. Woodworth will be making daily rounds at Griffin Hospital. He will be continue to see patients in his Derby office at 300 Seymour Avenue, across the street from Griffin Hospital. His new office at the Ivy Brook Medical Center in Shelton is now open as well. Noninvasive cardiac testing is available in the Shelton office. Advanced cardiac services are available at Griffin Hospital, Bridgeport Hospital and other nearby medical centers. Dr. Woodworth is a graduate of Princeton University and Dartmouth Medical School. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Woodworth has been in practice for seven years, and has been providing service to the Griffin Hospital community and the Valley for the past five years. His areas of interest include heart disease, chest pain, palpitations, cholesterol, breathlessness, and other related conditions.
